Terms of Use
These terms are an agreement between you and SAMCOM LLC ("SAMCOM", "we", "us") for the BulkBack app and related services. By downloading or using BulkBack you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use the app.
1. Not affiliated with Costco
BulkBack is an independent app. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Costco Wholesale Corporation. Costco is a trademark of Costco Wholesale Corporation and is used only to describe the stores the app helps you with.
2. What BulkBack does and does not promise
BulkBack helps you notice potential price adjustments using your receipts, Costco savings information and information from other members. Sale information may be incomplete, late or wrong. Costco decides whether an adjustment is accepted, so any refund amount shown is only a potential amount, not a guarantee. Always check the warehouse's current price and policy before you make a claim.
3. License
We give you a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use BulkBack on Apple devices you own or control, under these terms and the Apple Media Services Terms. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer or resell the app, or use it to build a competing service, except where the law allows.
4. BulkBack Plus subscription
- What it is: BulkBack Plus is an auto-renewing subscription that unlocks automatic matching and price-adjustment alerts. Other features are free.
- Price and period: The price and billing period (monthly or yearly) are shown in the app before you subscribe. There is no free trial at launch unless the app says otherwise.
- Billing: Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase.
- Renewal: The subscription renews automatically for the same period at the then-current price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
- Managing and cancelling: Manage or cancel in iPhone Settings > your name > Subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription.
- Refunds: Apple handles refunds for App Store purchases. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
- Price changes: If we change the price, Apple will tell you and, where required, ask for your consent before the new price applies.
- Restore: Use Restore Purchases in the app to recover your subscription on a new device.
5. Content you share
If you share prices or add sale items, you agree that the information is accurate to the best of your knowledge, that you won't post anything false, abusive, unlawful or misleading, and that you won't try to manipulate alerts. You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use and combine that information to operate and improve BulkBack and to show it to other members. We may remove content and limit sharing from anyone who misuses it. You can report content in the app or at support@bulkback.com.

How information is handled is described in our Privacy Policy.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
BulkBack is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, and we do not promise that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free or that sale or price information will be accurate or complete.
8. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, SAMCOM will not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for lost savings, refunds or profits, arising from your use of BulkBack. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for BulkBack in the 12 months before the claim. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
9. Ending use
You can stop using BulkBack at any time. We may suspend or end access if you break these terms or misuse the service.
10. Changes
We may update these terms. The date above shows the latest version. If you keep using BulkBack after a change, you accept the new terms.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where your local law requires otherwise.
12. Apple terms
If you use BulkBack on an Apple device, these also apply:
- These terms are between you and SAMCOM, not Apple. SAMCOM, not Apple, is responsible for BulkBack and its content.
- Apple has no duty to provide maintenance or support for BulkBack.
- If BulkBack fails to meet a warranty that applies, you may tell Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price of the app (if any). Apple has no other warranty duty for it. Other claims, losses and costs are our responsibility to the extent the law allows.
- SAMCOM, not Apple, is responsible for any claims about BulkBack, including product liability, legal or regulatory compliance and consumer protection claims.
- If a third party claims BulkBack infringes its intellectual property, SAMCOM, not Apple, is responsible for investigating and handling that claim.
- You confirm that you are not in a country under a U.S. embargo or listed as a restricted party, and you will follow any applicable third-party terms when using BulkBack.
- Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you once you accept.
